Business Development Associate

Churchill McGee LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Business Development Associate to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads through networking and market research.
  • Develop relationships with clients such as general contractors, architects, and property developers.
  • Understand and present our construction service and products.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to offer customized solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline to meet targets.
 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience in commercial construction.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and processes.
  • Initiative-taking, independent and team oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
 

Education and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management or related field.

Carpenter

Churchill McGee, LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Carpenter to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform carpentry work per specifications and blueprints.
  • Construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures.
  • Assist with concrete, tile masonry and roof repairs.
  • Use power tools and hand tools safely.
  • Lift heavy materials as needed and assist with restoration projects.
 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of carpentry experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Skilled in carpentry, concrete and roof repairs.
  • Proficient with power tools and hand tools.
 

Education and Other Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
