Laborer

Churchill McGee, LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Construction Laborer to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform range of manual labor tasks related to construction such as carrying materials and tools, digging trenches, and using hand power tools.
• Help prepare job sites by cleaning, removing debris, and setting up equipment.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, bulldozers and excavators.
• Assist in building structures such as walls, roofs and floors.
• Construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures.
• Assist with concrete, tile masonry and roof repairs.
• Use power tools and hand tools safely.
• Lift heavy materials as needed and assist with restoration projects.

Qualifications:

• Construction industry experience (preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with power tools and hand tools.

Education and Other Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
