Skilled Concrete Finisher

Churchill McGee, LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Skilled Concrete Finisher to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Pour and level concrete surfaces for commercial buildings and other large scale projects.
• Use various hand and power tools to shape and smooth concrete surfaces.
• Install tie rebar and wire mesh, handrails, expansion, joints, and control joints.
• Work with other members of the team to ensure all concrete surfaces are properly finished.
• Repair and patch existing concrete surfaces as needed.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures.
• Ensure all work is completed within established timelines and to the satisfaction of the client.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of concrete work experience. 
• Proficient in concrete techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read construction plans.

Education and Other Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
