Senior Superintendent

Churchill McGee LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage field construction teams, including superintendents, subcontractors and labor staff.
  • Develop, monitor and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Oversee site-specific safety programs in compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors scopes, schedules and resources.
  • Act as a liaison with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and address issues promptly
  • Manage budgets for labor, equipment, and materials
  • Maintain accurate project documentations (daily reports, RFIs, submittals, etc.).
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Support pre-construction planning, budgeting, scheduling and design reviews.
  • Promote collaboration and productivity across the project team.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 7+ years of experience in a supervisory role in commercial construction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, safety standards and regulations.
  • Firm understanding of commercial construction industry and processes.

 

Education and Other Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
