Job Summary

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in MIG welding techniques andfabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively in a construction ormanufacturing environment. This role involves interpreting blueprints andschematics, utilizing hand and power tools, and ensuring that all work meetsindustry standards.

Duties

• Perform MIG welding on structural and miscellaneous steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Utilize tape measures, squares, and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication.
• Assemble components according to specifications while adhering to AISC and ASME codes & standards.
• Conduct rigging tasks for moving heavy materials safely within the work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience in a fabrication shop with a focus on welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Familiarity with operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively.
• Knowledge of assembly processes for various components within manufacturing settings.
