Emphasis is placed estimating from a general contractors and subcontractor perspective.\n\n               \n\nStudent Learning Outcomes: \n\nTo create a learning situation whereby a student becomes one who can:\n\n \n\nA. Perform manual quantity take-offs within accepted levels of accuracy for sample projects.\n\nB. Perform quantity take-offs using a sample project on standardized forms to facilitate review. \n\nC. Exercise judgment in estimating waste factors for materials\, using standards on sample project.\n\nD. Address ethical dilemmas and safety concerns within the construction estimating process. \n\nE.
