Calhoun Construction is seeking dynamic and ambitious individuals to lead, inspire and develop teams of dedicated professionals throughout all levels of our organization. A Project Accountant will help us manage all of the billing and invoicing that keep our projects successful, as well as other responsibilities.
This is a full-time, onsite position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- AIA review
- Viewpoint AP entry
- Review subcontractor payment applications
- Follow-up with subcontractors to fix billing mistakes
- New vendor setup
- Monthly customer billing
- Checking insurance and bond compliance
- Print AP Invoices from email box daily
- Accounts payable/ accounts receivable
- Working with project managers on cost and budget variances
- Change order processing of subcontracts
- Communicate with vendors
- Assists in Answering Office Phones
- Assists controller with special projects
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years’ accounting experience
- Construction experience required
- Able to work in a team environment
- Organization and attention to detail is a must
- Knowledge of AIA payment applications forms is a plus
- Experience with Viewpoint Software (preferred, but not required)
- MS Office
