Class Description:
Contract documents, drawings, and specifications and their impact on the construction process. A study of the types and organization of construction contracts, and the roles and responsibilities of the parties involved.
Student Learning Outcomes:
To create a learning environment whereby a student becomes able to:
A. Understand the meaning of contract and specification terms and phrases.
B. Understand the contract clauses.
C. Understand the types of contracts and documents and forms used to prepare them.
D. Understand the contractor, sub-contractor, and supplier obligations under different contracts.
E. Understand the contract bidding and negotiating.
F. Understand the ethical issues that confront construction professionals.

Fees/Admission
Members with the Builders Exchange of Kentucky will pay $500 per course or $1,700 for all 4 courses. You have the option to by credit card online, request an invoice to pay later, or pay by cash or check on the day of the event. Please contact Builders Exchange to pay an open invoice.
Non-Members will pay $600 per course or $2,000 for all 4 courses.
